Quilted Advent Calendar and Ornaments - PDF pattern

Advent Calendar measures 24" x 36". Each little felt ornament fits in its own pocket and then later hangs from a white button -- you add one ornament to the tree each day in December and by Christmas Eve your tree is decorated.

Pockets measure about 3" x 3" and are the perfect size for a small ornament, a treat, or a note. The pattern for ornaments is included and provides templates for cutting and detailed instructions for how to make each one, as well as full-color examples of finished ornaments.

Materials needed for Advent Calendar:
1-1/3 yard solid green fabric (for background)
24" x 24" piece of green felt (for tree)
1-3/8 yard of red ric rac (for garland on tree)
1/8 yard solid white fabric (for numbers and snow dots)
1/3 yard binding fabric
3/4 yard backing fabric
27" x 40" piece of thin batting
24 buttons
Heat n Bond Ultra (or similar fusible web)

Materials needed for Ornaments:
craft felt in various colors
hot glue gun
3D paint in black, red, silver
3 yards thin ribbon for hanging loops
sharp scissors
